Operating Instructions - Fresh Ecofry Oil Trolley

Ecofry Elite Cooking Oil Refil System

Before you begin

  • Ensure the trolley is clean and has been sanitised.

  • Check that all fittings and hoses are secure and undamaged.

  • Confirm the trolley is filled with Ecofry Elite fresh cooking oil.

  • Only trained staff should operate this equipment.

Step 1: Position the Trolley

Wheel the trolley to the fryer station.

  • Lock the trolley wheels before operation to prevent movement.

Step 2: Power Up (If Electric Pump)

Open front door of fresh oil trolley

  • Plug in the trolley power cord (if applicable).

  • Turn on the power point after plugging into power outlet.

  • Ensure lock on pump handle is not engaged.

  • Turn on the main power switch (located near the pump unit).

  • Allow the system to prime if it hasn’t been used for a while.

Step 3: Using the Oil Hose

Unclip the pump handle and dispensing hose from its holder.

  • Aim the nozzle into the fryer, DO NOT STEP AWAY!

  • Make sure the hose is not kinked or twisted.

Step 4: Begin Dispensing

Important: Do not use the lock on the pump handle. Dispense oil only while actively holding the handle.

  • Activate the hand pump, depending on your model.

  • Slowly dispense the oil – keep an eye on the fryer’s oil level to avoid overfilling.

  • Dispensing should be smooth and controlled at all times.

Step 5: Stop and Disconnect

Once the fryer is at the correct level, disengage the pump handle on the nozzle and turn the pump OFF.

  • Allow remaining oil in the hose to drain back down the hose and back into the trolley reservoir.

  • Remove the nozzle and wipe clean with a food-safe cloth.

  • Return the hose and hand pump to its holder securely.

Step 6: Finishing Up

Wipe down the trolley and surrounding area for any oil spills.

  • Turn off at the power outlet and unplug the power cord.

  • Stow trolley power cord back inside trolley.

  • Wheel the trolley back to its storage location and lock the wheels.

Daily maintenance

  • Wipe down the external surfaces and handle after use.

  • Clean the outside of hose and nozzle thoroughly with warm soapy water and sanitiser.

  • Check for leaks, damage, or wear on hose and fittings.

  • Report any faults immediately to your kitchen supervisor.
